High-Speed Train Narrowly Misses Car as Vehicle Rolls Through Railroad Crossing Barrier
None of the car's four passengers were injured.
A car with four people inside narrowly missed becoming a heap of scrap metal as it was clipped by a high-speed train after the vehicle rolled through a railroad crossing barrier.
Security footage released by the national railway company PKP showed the harrowing incident that occurred in north Poland last month.
The car, driven by a 48-year-old woman, could be seen slamming through the barrier that warned a train was arriving.
The vehicle had slowed to a stop just past the tracks when moments later, a train came barreling through, clipping the back of the car.
No one was hurt in the accident, and all four passengers could be seen walking out of the vehicle to assess the damages.
Police later issued the driver a $140 fine.
