Ever-Casting Love: Husband, Wedding Party Surprise Bride Who Suffered Broken Wrist Before Ceremony
She dreamed of the day her whole life, but fate had other plans.
One newlywed is recounting how her big day didn’t quite go as planned after a sudden injury.
“It was 10 days before my wedding day and I broke my wrist,” Jaclyn Summers told Inside Edition.
So for the August 20 ceremony, her arm was in a cast, which left her to alter some of her plans.
“All I ever wanted to do was find my soulmate and marry them,” she said. “I wanted my day to be magical and I never planned this.”
Her groom, Jonathan, wanted to make his bride-to-be feel better, so he hatched a secret plan for the entire wedding party to have their left arm wrapped in ACE bandages to mimic Summers' injury.
“I was literally laughing to the point of tears,” she said. “It was something I had no idea they were doing. I never expected that. It was very kind. It was very heartfelt.”
The show of support by her bridal party and her husband made the special day that much better.
"I just fall in love with him each day, over and over again," she said. "I couldn’t have asked for anyone better."
