Shania Twain and Sheryl Crow's Embarrassment at CMT Awards

Not all the action at the Country Music Television Awards happened on stage!

Country star Shania Twain took a nasty spill at last night's CMT Awards, wiping out as she headed to the stage. After the fall, she picked herself right back up and was rewarded with a roaring applause from the crowd.

A dressed down Twain tweeted a video from her hotel room post-show, joking about the tumble seen round the world.

"I have a bit of a sore thumb and that's about it. I'm going to auction off those shoes, actually," she said. "I never want to see those shoes again!"

Singer Sheryl Crow also had an embarrassing moment at the CMTs: she accidentally flashed the crowd her underwear on live TV! Crow traded in the revealing micro mini for a flowing white gown and proceeded to joke about the wardrobe malfunction.

"When I got up off the stool I showed my underwear [...] I was wearing underwear, because I'm good, clean, wholesome family fun," Crow joked.
