TV Reporter Lauren Sivan Comes Forward to Detail 'Disgusting' Encounter With Harvey Weinstein
Sivan claims the disgraced Hollywood mogul tried to kiss her and exposed himself to her.
Lauren Sivan is a TV reporter in Los Angeles. She tells Inside Edition that it all started when the Pulp Fiction producer cornered her in a restaurant a decade ago.
“He blocked the door and tried to kiss me,” she said.
What she says Weinstein did after trying to kiss her is shocking, claiming he ordered her to be quiet and exposed himself to her.
She said she was "truly shocked" after he exposed himself.
She says the incident happened at the Socialista Lounge in New York City, where Weinstein was once an investor.
Sivan, who was working for local cable news network News 12 Long Island at the time, was having a night on the town with friends and partying with Weinstein when he offered to give her a private tour of the kitchen after it had closed for the evening.
"I wasn't so much scared as I was disappointed with myself, 'Oh, I am so stupid. I thought we were having such a nice conversation,'" she said.
Sivan is the latest to level allegations against the mogul behind such hit films as The Artist, Shakespeare in Love and Reservoir Dogs.
Other accusers include actresses Ashley Judd and Rose McGowan, who condemned her fellow stars for remaining silent over the years.
She tweeted a photo of herself Sunday as a young starlet with the caption, “This is the girl that was hurt by a monster.”

"Anyone doing business with [Weinstein] must have known what kind of guy he is," Sivan told Inside Edition. "People need to come out and make a strong stance against this and condemn him."
Legendary actress Meryl Streep says she never experienced any inappropriate conduct by Weinstein, but in a statement, she calls the producer "disgraceful" and his behavior "inexcusable."
"The intrepid women who raised their voices to expose this abuse are our heroes,” she said.
Weinstein produced Streep’s movie, The Iron Lady, where she portrayed former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and took home a Golden Globe and Oscar for her role.
Weinstein was fired by The Weinstein Company over the weekend.
On Monday, Today show co-host Kathie Lee Gifford also revealed a harrowing experience of her own but with a different Hollywood producer when she was 21 and starting out as a young actress.
She said she went to a producer’s home and he made her watch as he touched himself.
"I learned from that, boy," she explained. "I felt grateful I got out of there without being raped. When you're so demeaned, you feel dirty and so stupid. I thought, 'Kathie, idiot. Never go to somebody's house.' I was 21 years old."
