Carrie Fisher's Dog Gary Watches Her in the New 'Star Wars' Trailer

A photo shows Carrie Fisher's French bulldog sitting at attention as the trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi played on TV.

The much-anticipated trailer for the forthcoming Star Wars film was released Monday night and one fan was more attentive than the rest.

Carrie Fisher’s French bulldog, Gary Fisher, sat at attention when the trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi played at halftime during "Monday Night Football."

Gary Fisher, who has 142,000 Instagram followers, “posted” a photo of himself watching his late master reprise her role as Princess Leia, who is now known General Leia, one last time.

The adorable photo, which shows Gary staring at the TV, was posted with the caption: “Just watched the new trailer of The Last Jedi and my mom looks more beautiful than ever. #garymisseshismom #garyloveshismom.”

Fisher, 60, passed away in December from cardiac arrest, and she and her dog had a strong bond. The dog joined her on many of her trips, including a visit to Europe before her passing.
