The Final Harry Potter Premieres in New York to Eager Fans
It’s the end of an era for Harry Potter fans as the final film hits theatres this week. INSIDE EDITION caught up with the stars on the red carpet at the New York premiere.
It was Potter mania as fans lined the streets of New York City—some for up to six days—all hoping to meet Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson.
It's the end of an era as the the eighth and the final installment of the popular film franchise hits the big screen this week.
Emma Watson said, "It's been a hell of a ride."
After 10 years playing the brainy Hermione Granger, Emma Watson finds it hard to distinguish herself from her character.
"It's hard to know how much of her is me and me is her now. It's all sort of a little bit mushy, it's been so long," said Watson.
And Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, says the series is going out with a bang.
"This one has to be my favorite. It feels wonderful to celebrate it, but I'm no longer in mourning," said Radcliffe.
When asked about her on screen kiss with co-star Rupert Grint, Watson said, "It was awkard, I'm not going to lie to you. We've grown up together. He's been like a brother to me, and to try and kiss him was very strange. But we both understood that it was an important moment for the movies."
