Rosie O'Donnell's Talk Show to Premiere on OWN Network

Rosie O’Donnell returns to TV in her own talk show for Oprah Winfrey’s struggling OWN network. INSIDE EDITION sat down with Rosie to talk about her show.
Outrageous as ever, Rosie O'Donnell is returning to TV on Oprah Winfrey's embattled cable network OWN.
INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret sat down with O'Donnell in L.A, where she's promoting her new talk show, The Rosie Show, scheduled to launch this fall.
"Do you feel the pressure of being on Oprah's network?" asked Jim Moret.
"I feel it's a privilege more than weight. It elevates me, it doesn't drag me down," answered O'Donnell.
O'Donnell's even taken over Harpo Studios in Chicago, where Oprah shot her legendary show.
"What kind of a thrill is that?" asked Moret.
"Huge. And the first day I walked in there, which was about a week ago, I was like 'Wow, this is intense.' We have her whole team there, her set designer, her director. So there's going to be an aesthetic beauty," O'Donnell said.
But OWN is facing one disappointment after another. Jenny McCarthy was going to host a talk show for Oprah, but now comes word that her show won't appear on OWN. McCarthy is reportedly shopping the show around to other networks.
The headline in today's New York Post blares, " 'O' no!"
O'Donnell, however, warns not to be against Oprah.
"[Oprah has] got her vision and what she wants and what she needs, and I think we're full speed ahead," said O'Donnell.
After Oprah was seen having dinner with Maria Shriver this week, there's renewed speculation that Shriver might also host a show on the OWN network.
"[Shriver is] an amazing woman, and an incredible reporter and journalist. I think whatever she wants to do, Oprah would be behind her," O'Donnell said.
INSIDE EDITION asked O'Donnell if she would she ever sit down with Casey Anthony, often referred to as "The Most Hated Woman in America?"
"That's not the kind of show we're doing. [The show is] fun, entertaining, enjoyable, light," she said.
