Burt Reynolds Reportedly Faces Foreclosure
Hollywood veteran Burt Reynolds says he’s as surprised as anyone to learn that he’s facing foreclosure on his home. INSIDE EDITION has the story.
Burt Reynolds in foreclosure!
The veteran star is about to lose his Florida mansion. Merrill Lynch has just foreclosed on Reynolds. They claim he hasn't paid his mortgage in 12 months.
The luxury waterfront estate, reportedly valued at $2.5 million, even has a private beach. Reynolds could lose it all, but it seems he may be in denial over his dire financial straits.
"I am as surprised as everyone," Reynolds told INSIDE EDITION in a statement. "I thought my career and my life could not be going better."
The star who has already filed for bankruptcy once back in 1996 is not letting this new financial crisis get him down.
"There are a hell of a lot of other people worse off that I am," he said. "I will do like I've always done, keep my head up high and continue to move on down the road."
