Funeral proceedings took place today for Marie Osmond's son Michael Blosil, who committed suicide at just 18-years-old. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
It's heartbreaking for the Osmond family as they gather for the funeral of Marie Osmond's son.
18-year-old Michael committed suicide by jumping out of his apartment building in Los Angeles. He was buried Monday near Provo, Utah, where his family lives.
Marie's brother Jay managed a wave as he arrived for the service. Her other brother Alan, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, looked somber.
Other mourners exchanged hugs outside the temple.
The funeral program reads, "Michael Bryan, beloved son, brother and friend."
Donny Osmond was scheduled to perform the invocation. Other family members also had roles in the service.
Meanwhile, comedian Roseanne is apologizing for remarks she made about the death.
Roseanne had claimed that Michael killed himself because he was gay and had been belittled by the Mormon church.
In a new blog posting, Roseanne says:
"I am very sorry that I said anything about Marie Osmond's son. I am sorry to have hurt Marie Osmond, who is the most open-minded person in her whole family. I apologize for having added to another mother's pain."
Marie and brother Donny are due to resume performing at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas Tuesday.
