Brad Pitt Discusses Aniston Comments With Matt Lauer

Could Brad Pitt's comments about his marriage to Jennifer Aniston hurt his new movie Moneyball at the box office? INSIDE EDITION reports.
"Let me just read what came out, and get your reaction," said Matt Lauer.
"No! Please don't read it," said Brad Pitt.
It was a tense moment on morning TV as a defensive Brad Pitt refused to listen to those controversial remarks he made about Jennifer Aniston.
The Today show's Matt Lauer put Pitt on the spot at the Oakland A's Coliseum, where he's promoting his new baseball movie, Moneyball.
It all started when Pitt told Parade magazine his life was "pathetic" when he was married to Aniston.
"The best thing I've done as a father is to make sure that my kids have a good mother. That's all I am or was trying to say. It has no reference to the past, and I think it's a shame that I can't say something nice about Angie without Jen being drug in. You know, she doesn't deserve it," said Pitt.
"Did she call you after the quotes got out?" asked Lauer.
"No, but she's also a seasoned veteran. You know, she's a valuable person. We spent seven years together. Come on. I've got a knack for stepping into [expletive]," said Pitt.
