Academy® Apologizes to Family of Farrah Fawcett

The Motion Picture Academy® is officially apologizing to the family of Farrah Fawcett for omitting her from the Oscar® tribute to stars who passed away.
Farrah's longtime love Ryan O'Neal was very upset that the Academy neglected to mention Farrah's passing from cancer last June.
In a statement, the Academy®'s executive director acknowledged the family's concern and said, "We understand that, and we're sorry for it."
