Kim Kardashian Reportedly Keeping Her Ring

Reaction is pouring in over reports that Kim Kardashian is keeping the 20-carat ring from her brief marriage to Kris Humphries. INSIDE EDITION has the details.

It's war over the ring. Kim Kardashian says she's keeping the 20-carat sparkler. But Kris Humphries wants it back now.

Kardashian's mom, Kris Jenner, made her opinion clear on Good Morning America this morning:

"I hate an Indian giver. Don't you? I mean, it's a gift. So, you know, keep your gift," said Jenner.

On The View, Barbara Walters totally disagreed, to the cheers of the studio audience.

"I mean, she's got enough money. Give the ring back," said Walters.

At Landsburg Jewelers in Manhattan, where they sell lots of diamond rings, they agree it's a tricky situation. After all, it was Kim who called it quits after only 72 days of marriage. Do rules of etiquette require her to give the ring back, or does she have legitimate claims to keep it?

Amy Eisinger of told INSIDE EDITION, "Technically, an engagement ring is a gift. So, if it was a family heirloom or something like that, it would be a very nice gesture to obviously give the ring back to the family. However, if the groom went out, bought the ring specifically for the occassion, it's a gift. You don't have to give it back."

Kris Humphries is riding out the storm at his family's home in Minnesota where he's reportedly being urged to fight for the ring. One family member is quoted as saying, "He started to feel like a punching bag. He felt like the guy who got married to Kim on TV, not her husband. He felt used."

Humphries's dad, William, runs a Five Guys burger joint in Duluth.

The backlash has now forced the E! Network to release a statement saying that rumors the wedding was a sham are "completely false."

Meanwhile, Kardashian has decided to cut short her trip to Australia where she was marketing her line of handbags.

INSIDE EDITION found a candid moment that never aired. It happened just before her live interview on Australian TV as Kardashian complained to sister Khloe that her tight dress was making her look fat.

"I look so large in this dress," said Kardashian.

"Kimberly, you look beautiful," said her sister Khloe.

It was a sharp contrast to how serious and sad she looked once the interview started.

In the interview, Kardashian said, "I can't really live my life for what people are going to say and not say. It's hurtful and I certainly didn't want to disappoint anyone, but first and foremost I have to follow my heart."
