Famous Kodak Theater to be Renamed

The famed Kodak Theatre is changing its name just days before all of Hollywood shows up for this year's Academy Awards. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
The glamourous theater that is hosting this Sunday's Oscar® show is about to change its name!
The Kodak sign is still up today, but you won't see it when the stars hit the red carpet. That's because Kodak filed for bankruptcy just last month and in order to save money, it backed out of the $74 million contract that gave it the right to name the theater.
The theater will now be called simply the "Hollywood and Highland Theater," named after the intersection where it sits.
