The Talk of the Oscars®: Angelina Jolie's Leg
The one Oscar® moment that has become water cooler conversation is Angelina Jolie's leg, which now has over 22,000 Twitter followers. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
It's the thigh seen round the world. Everyone's talking about Angelina Jolie's right leg.
Joan Rivers slammed the provocative pose, using the leg of a mannequin saying, "She posed and it suddenly took away all her charm."
Some say that Jolie was in on the joke.
On the Today show Dr. Nancy Snyderman said, "I couldn't figure out if it was some big gag on her part, or if she really was doing it because her dress allowed it."
Star Jones replied, "I think she was having some fun with us."
And others are focusing on how thin Jolie looked in her Versace gown with the daring slit.
Bill O'Reilly said, "Is it just me, or is she looking mighty slim these days? Even emmaciated?"
And the internet is already seeing many spoofs. One spoof shows Jolie's leg giving the Statue of Liberty a little sex appeal with her leg. And one shows Jolie with not one, but two jutting legs.
We caught up with Jolie shopping in Beverly Hills with her twins wearing a mommy-appropriate outfit. But she was reportedly "steamed" when her leg stance, which she adjusted to get just right, was mocked by screenwriter Jim Rash, who won an Oscar® for The Descendants.
"Who is that guy?" she reportedly snapped. But she seemed to calm down quickly.
During the show, Angelina is said to have snubbed George Clooney's girlfriend, Stacy Keibler. She and Brad Pitt reportedly got up to greet Clooney, but as soon as Jolie saw Keibler, she turned and actually walked in the other direction.
And J.Lo's alleged wardrobe malfunction was the most watched moment from the Oscars® with viewers rewinding their DVRs again and again to judge whether her plunging neckline revealed a little too much.
Lopez is said to be laughing it all off, assuring anyone who asks that there was no scandalous slippage.
Her fellow judge on American Idol, Steven Tyler said as he studied the photo closely, "That would....not be it."
Meantime Donald Trump is sounding off about Oscar® night.
Trump said, "This third-rate character named Sacha Baron Cohen thought he was being cute and funny."
He tore into Cohen for his big stunt, dumping ashes on E! Host Ryan Seacrest.
"Believe me, if that ever happened to someone with real security, Sacha Baron Cohen would not be in good shape right now, he would be in a hospital. He would have been punched in the face so many times, he wouldn't have known what happened. I only wish that Ryan took a swing at him," said Trump.
The Donald also layed into the star-studded vanity fair Oscar® party.
"I hear that the absolute worst party of the evening, was the Vanity Fair party. It was boring. People were sleeping. Nobody enjoyed it. There was no good feeling. And it's really symbolic of what happened to Vanity Fair," said Trump.
