The woman accused of stalking Alec Baldwin has been ordered to stay away after she reportedly sent the 30 Rock star bizarre emails and repeatedly showed up at his home and appearances. INSIDE EDITION has the story.
She's the pretty actress accused of stalking Alec Baldwin.
Genevieve Sabourin claims she and Baldwin were lovers and she wants to marry him and have his baby.
But the 30 Rock star says his relationship with the woman was "strictly professional" and told cops he took Sabourin to dinner twice last year because he was trying to help the struggling Canadian actress get movie roles in the U.S.
40-year-old Sabourin apparently lost it earlier this month after Baldwin announced that he had gotten engaged to 28-year-old yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas.
In a series of bizarre emails to Baldwin that started right after his engagement was announced, Sabourin wrote that she wanted to become "Genevieve Baldwin."
"I need to start my new life, with my new name....in my new country. Help me my new husband, you!"
In another email written the same day she pleads, "Please Alec come and pick me up now. I am less than 10 min away from you tonight. Say I do to me."
The struggling actress first met Baldwin on the set of the 2002 Eddie Murphy movie, The Adventures of Pluto Nash. Baldwin had a bit part in the film, and Sabourin was doing public relations for the movie.
That same year, Sabourin landed a small part in the 2002 movie Swindle.
Baldwin says they stayed in touch and dined briefly in 2010, where he gave her career advice.
But when he got engaged, Baldwin says Sabourin started stalking him. She flew from Canada to New York and showed up at Baldwin's home in The Hamptons. She also showed up just last week when Baldwin was attending an event at Lincoln Center in New York. And Baldwin says she started sending him worrisome emails.
She was arrested after she turned up outside Baldwin's Manhattan apartment, asking the doorman, "Is he in?" She also asked about Baldwin's fiancée, Hilaria. That was the last straw for Baldwin. He called police and had her hauled off.
INSIDE EDITION asked Sabourin outside a New York courthouse, "Do you have anything to say to Alec Baldwin?"
"No comment," replied Sabourin.
She was released last night without bail after a judge issued a temporary order of protection for Baldwin.
