Hollywood and Washington D.C. came together for the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner, but not everyone is laughing at the jokes that were made by host Jimmy Kimmel. INSIDE EDITION reports from the red carpet.
Not everyone laughed at Jimmy Kimmel's zingers at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
Barbara Walters looked none too pleased when the host of the star-studded affair made this crack.
"Sixteen years is a long time. Sixteen years ago there was no Facebook, there was no Google, and a tweet was something Barbara Walters gave her dog," joked Kimmel.
"I did not like what he said about me," said Walters on The View.
But Walters took the weekend to simmer down and was able to see the humor.
Joy Behar said on The View, "Let me test her. Say the word treat three times."
"Treat, treat, treat," said Walters.
Newsman Keith Olbermann was also annoyed over Kimmel joking about his firing from his latest TV gig for diva-like behavior.
Kimmel joked, "I'd like everyone to look under your seats. Under each one you will find a copy of Keith Olbermann's resume."
Olbermann fired back on Twitter: "Funny that Jimmy Kimmel ripped me after his people desperately wanted me to fly to LA to be on his show."
But Donald Trump is laughing off this joke, delivered by President Obama himself.
"We finally delivered justice to one of the world's most notorious individuals," said Obama as an image of Donald Trump was shown on the screen.
INSIDE EDITION's Megan Alexander caught up with Trump today in New York, where he's promoting the Celebrity Apprentice.
Trump said, "Well, I was honored by it. His delivery was great. It's all for fun."
"Were you offended in any way," asked Alexander.
"Not even a little bit, no," said Trump.
Lohan was a guest of Fox News channel's Greta van Susteren.
Alexander asked, "Why Lindsay?"
"Because I love a comeback," said van Susteren.
Also at their table was the one and only Kim Kardashian.
Kardashian told INSIDE EDITION, "They say Washington gets really excited, umm, for this big night. And it's, you know, I think just a mix of Hollywood and, you know, just, politicians."
Kim's mom, Kris Jenner, helped Lohan clean off her dirty train before they went inside. Not everyone was happy that Lohan scored an invite. Jessica Alba cancelled when she heard she'd be seated with Lohan, according to New York Post columnist Cindy Adams.
The White House Correspondents' Dinner is known as date night for Hollywood and Washington D.C. and some pretty interesting couples walked the red carpet.
CBS News' Bob Scheiffer looked thrilled to have actress Claire Danes on his arm. Her hit show, Homeland, is President Obama's favorite.
Alexander asked, "How does that make you feel?"
"Deeply flattered," said Danes.
Sofia Vergara filled INSIDE EDITION in on her very exciting day.
"We had an afternoon at the White House. We had a private tour with the president and the first lady and the kids. I even played with dog. So it's been surreal," said Vergara.
And Viola Davis and her husband were dying for some face time with the president.
