Jennifer Hudson Family Murder Trial - Verdict Reached
A verdict has been announced in the trial against the man accused of killing of members of Jennifer Hudson's family. INSIDE EDITION has the latest.
The verdict is in—guilty.
William Balfour was convicted of murdering Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew.
Balfour is Jennifer's former brother-in-law.
During Balfour's trial, Jennifer tearfully testified how she tried to persuade her sister not to marry him.
The jury also heard the 911 call Jennifer's sister made when she came back to their Chicago home to find her mother dead on the floor.
Jennifer sat in the fourth row throughout Balfour's three-week trial.
The jury convicted Balfour on three counts of murder Friday.
