Halle Berry Asks Judge For Permission to Move to Paris

In a bitter custody battle with ex-husband Gabriel Aubrey, Halle Berry is asking a judge to let her move to Paris with her daughter. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
There was drama in court as Halle Berry appeals to a judge for permission to move to Paris with her little girl.
INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret was in the courtroom where Halle Berry was seated near him in the very last row. She looked somber, dresed in dark clothing. Her ex-husband, Gabriel Aubry was seated rows in front of her. The two never looked at each other. It is expected to be a bitter custody battle that could take as long as three weeks.
Berry says it's become impossible to raise her four-year-old daughter, Nahla in Los Angeles because of the constant presence of the paparazzi.
A caught-on-tape confrontation will reportedly be used as evidence in court of Berry losing it with a photographer outside her daughter's school. That same photographer has been subpoenaed to testify by Berry's lawyer.
Berry's ex-husband, Gabriel Aubry, is fighting any attempt by Berry to move their biological daughter out of the country.
The French have strict laws that keep the paparazzi at bay so scenes like Berry's recent one doesn't happen.
