Kate Gosselin's Apology to Jon

Is Kate Gosselin finally apologizing to Jon? She admits to INSIDE EDITION that she spoke harshly to her ex-husband, and says she is giving her "honest account of what happened" in her new book, I Just Want You to Know

"We had rough conversations and I talked very harshly," Kate Gosselin tells INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret of her quarrelsome relationship with Jon Gosselin.

For the first time Kate Gosselin is publicly apologizing to her ex-husband. In an INSIDE EDITION exclusive, Gosselin admits her insistence on doing things her way contributed to their divorce.

"I mean Jon was the person there. He took a lot of the brunt," Gosselin says.

She's on a nationwide tour promoting her new book I Just Want You to Know. The book is like a journal of what happened as she and Jon were splitting up.

"I read this in a sense as an apology to Jon. Is it?" asks INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret.

"Uh yeah...It's just my honest account of what happened back in that day. I'm a Type A personality and there's a certain way for things to be done and I'm kind of like a dog with a bone at times," Gosselin admits.

In the book, Gosselin says her patience was stretched to the limit during filming of the now-canceled Jon & Kate Plus 8.

She says the pressures of raising eight kids with cameras rolling constantly made her feel like she was living in a fishbowl.

"You might as well have put us in a glass house because I absolutely pictured our walls as see-through at that point," she says.

"You said you almost came to see people, even those meaning well, as enemies?" asks Moret.

"It was truly the beginnings of me seeing the world, our viewers, our fans even, as the enemy because I was never sure whose intentions were good or bad," Gosselin explains.

For now, Gosselin is rehearsing six hours a day to stay in the competition on Dancing with the Stars.

In May, she begins filming a new TLC show Twist of Kate, which debuts this summer.

Her hectic schedule leaves little time for romance.

"Do you think about getting married again?" asks Moret.

"No," she says, and laughs.

Moret asks, "Do you think about dating?"

"The answer is I don't really have any spare time right now, I'm married to my kids and my career," she says. "I don't want to be alone but at the same time I truly don't believe there's anyone out there that could handle all I would have to hand them," she tells Moret.

As for having time for her kids because of all her projects, Gosselin says if she were still working as a nurse she'd be working 12-hour shifts six days a week for much less money.
