Just a few days after filing for divorce, Larry King and wife Shawn Southwick are seeing a marriage counselor. But are they trying to reconcile? INSIDE EDITION has the story.
Is Larry King reconciling with his wife Shawn Southwick?
The talk show legend was bombarded with questions about the status of his marriage as he left his favorite deli Nate & Al's.
For the second day, the couple was spotted together again chatting amiably at their son's Little League game. After sitting together in the bleachers they left separately, but it seems King is hoping they might get back together.
When asked by a photographer if he was working things out with his wife, King replied, "You never know."
But one source close to the couple is quoted as saying, "The divorce is full steam ahead." King and Southwick are reportedly meeting with a marriage counselor, but only to talk about maintaining a healthy environment for their two young sons, not to salvage their relationship.
"My mom and Larry obviously love each other, regardless of how things, whatever happens," Shawn's oldest son Danny, from a previous marriage, told paparazzi. "Obviously, the family is grieving. And, we are just doing the best we can."
It seems the allegations that King had an affair with sister-in-law Shannon Engemann, which they both deny, may be causing a family rift. When Shannon and Shawn's father was asked how Shannon was doing, he replied, "I don't know, I haven't spoken to Shannon."
King and Southwick have been married for 13 years and they have two young sons.
