Jill Kelley Lashes Out To Tampa Mayor Over Petraeus Fallout

As the Petraeus scandal continues to widen, whistleblower Jill Kelley lashed out to the mayor of Tampa, saying she can't believe what the city has done to her innocent family. INSIDE EDITION has the latest.
The socialite who triggered the scandal that brought down General Petraeus is lashing out.
Jill Kelley calls Paula Broadwell, who had a torrid affair with Petraeus, "The criminal that stalked all of us."
The 37-year-old hostess emailed the mayor of Tampa at the crack of dawn Tuesday to vent her fury, stating: "My family has been put through the ringer. It's just gotten too difficult to even pull out of our own driveway."
She also expressed outrage that the Tampa police released that now-notorious 911 call in which she claims diplomatic privileges. On that 911 call, Jill Kelley said, "I'm an honorary Consul General, so I have inviolability, so, they should not be able to cross my property."
911 operator: "All right. No problem. I'll let the officers know."
Kelley's email to the mayor continued: "I'm scared and I cannot believe what my city, which I have contributed so much of my love, time, money and leadership, has done to my innocent family."
Human behavior expert Dr. Wendy Walsh told INSIDE EDITION, "When you're feeling afraid, you're not thinking about how it happened, or why it happened, or if you were part of it. You're thinking about, how I can keep my kids safe. So yeah, she brought it upon herself, but at this point, it's all about 'how do I keep my family safe?' "
The emails were released by the mayor's office under Florida's liberal freedom of information law. The emails also reveal that Jill Kelley was a guest of the White House three times in the last three months, and dined in the White House mess.
In one email, written two days after the election, she writes: "I was at the White House with my friends in the Administration this weekend. The stress was surreal but glad the POTUS has been re-elected."
The emails give a glimpse inside her world of social climbing and name-dropping.
She informed the mayor just last year: "I'll be in D.C. this weekend with Petraeus. I'll be sure to send the [CIA] director your regards."
The strain of the scandal is getting to Jill Kelley's doctor husband, Scott. He glared at reporters camped outside his home and on another occasion, appeared to make an obscene gesture.
The late night comics are having a field day. Jay Leno says the whole scandal is like a cheesy reality show called, "The Real Generals of D.C."
And during his monologue, David Letterman was confronted by a man dressed as the shirtless FBI agent, just like that now-famous photo sent to Jill Kelley by her friend in the FBI.
