"Lincoln" Leads Oscar® Nominations

Seth MacFarlane and Emma Stone kept it light when they announced the Oscar® nominations. INSIDE EDITION spoke with MacFarlane at the event.
Lincoln leads the Oscar® pack with 12 nominations, including Best Picture.
Life Of Pi closely followed with 11 nods. Les Misérables got eight, and so did Silver Linings Playbook.
This year's Oscar® host, Seth MacFarlane kept it light as he announced the nominees alongside charming actress Emma Stone. MacFarlane wrote and ad-libbed most of what he said. Even the Academy acknowledges he brings a sense of danger to the event, and that's exactly what they wanted.
INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret spoke to MacFarlane.
"We wanted to present relatively dry information in a fun, peppy way," said MacFarlane.
Moret asked, "Are you nervous?"
"Not as much as I should be. I guess that's a bad sign, isn't it?" said MacFarlane.
There were audible gasps in the crowd as the Best Director nominations wrapped up. Quentin Tarantino was snubbed for Django Unchained. So was Ben Affleck for Argo.
The Best Actor nominees are Daniel Day Lewis for Lincoln, Bradley Cooper for Silver Linings Playbook, Hugh Jackman for Les Miserables, Joaquin Phoenix for The Master and Denzel Washington for Flight.
Anne Hathaway got a Best Supporting Actress nod for Les Mis and is considered the front runner.
MacFarlane also got a nomination for Best Song, from his comedy, Ted. MacFarlane joked, "That's kinda cool, I got nominated. I get to go to the Oscars® now."
