Gwyneth Paltrow Under Fire For Promoting Bikinis For Young Girls

Gwyneth Paltrow is raising an uproar after she is promoting a line of swimwear for young girls. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
Gwyneth Paltrow is under fire for selling a string bikini for little girls.
The ruffly two piece is on sale for $45 on her web site, Goop. It's described as "super cute" and "great for girls who want to look grown-up."
But the anti-child abuse advocacy group Kidscape says Paltrow is "sexuali(zing)" children, saying, "it is a great pity that such trends continue and that they carry celebrity endorsement."
And there's outrage across the twitterverse.
One comment was,"Step away from the baby bikinis, Gwyneth!” Another was, "Please think twice about kids' bikinis. it's just gross.”
But another tweet reads, “I used to wear a little bikini when I was 4 & loved it!”
An Insideedition.com poll shows support for Paltrow, with 53% of respondents calling the bikinis "appropriate."
Paltrow is not the only celebrity to come under fire for something like this. Jessica Simpson came under criticism for posting pictures of her young daughter in a bikini.
The actresses' spokesperson called the controversy "absurd" and said "two-piece bathing suits have been worn by young girls for decades."
Paltrow clearly wasn't letting the firestorm get to her during an appearance on a British talk show Monday. Another guest on the show had this to say about his anatomy, "My testicles hang at two different lengths."
Let's just say that Paltrow showed off her naughty side, getting up close and personal with the guy, to the delight of the audience.
