Singing Airplane Passengers Make Light of Long Delay
Making the best of a bad situation, airline passengers broke into a rendition of "I Believe I Can Fly" to pass the time. INSIDE EDITION has more.
Airplane passengers had been sitting on the tarmac for four excruciating hours in 100 degree heat with no air conditioning and no water.
So what did they do? They didn't scream or complain; they sang!
They chose the R. Kelly hit “I Believe I Can Fly,” of course.
It happened in Las Vegas on an Allegiant airplane bound for Phoenix. The flight was delayed for three hours, and then further delayed when passengers were moved to a second plane.
Dustin Kaelberer was onboard. “I guess it's just laughable at that point in time. You're upset at the two hour mark and then after that, what do you do about it? You just laugh.”
Just last week, the Philadelphia orchestra did the same thing.
They were stranded on a plane in China, so they brought out their instruments and performed for their fellow passengers.
Back in Vegas, everyone on board was clearly thrilled by the impromptu sing-along.
It seems music may be the perfect way to prevent air rage.
