Gun Exhibited In George Zimmerman Trial

Some tense moments surfaced in the George Zimmerman trial when a firearms expert demonstrated the actual gun that was used when Trayvon Martin was shot. INSIDE EDITION has the latest.
There was drama at the trial of George Zimmerman as a firearms expert pulled the trigger on the gun used to kill Trayvon Martin.
A court officer double-checked that the 9mm semi-automatic was unloaded. Then, the witness, Amy Siewert demonstrated the weapon. It was a tense moment as she showed how little force was needed to pull the trigger.
"I'll use my left hand so you can see," said Siewert.
The bloodstained hoodie Trayvon Martin was wearing when he was killed was shown once again to the jury. The firearms expert testified the bullet hole proves that George Zimmerman pressed the gun against Martin's chest before firing.
"It is consistent with the muzzle of the firearm touching the outter sweatshirt," said Siewert.
But there was also a moment of farce in court.
College professor Scott Pleasants was testifying via Skype about a course that Zimmerman took online. But his testimony was interrupted with a deluge of incoming prank calls.
"There's now a real possibility that we are being toyed with," said Pleasants.
Skype had to be switched off and he was cross-examined by phone.
