Actress Brittany Murphy's mother broke down while talking to CNN's Larry King during her first interview since the actress's death. INSIDE EDITION has the story.
Brittany Murphy's mother broke down in tears during her first interview since her daughter's death.
"You just saw the life go out of her," Sharon Murphy said during an appearance on CNN's Larry King Live.
Sharon appeared with Brittany's husband, Simon Monjack, in an emotional interview with Larry King.
"Were you there when they said she didn't make it?" King asked her.
Sharon nodded, and Monjack added, "Three people came in, Sharon and I were holding each other, and they let us know at the same time that she hadn't made it."
Sharon is also trying to put those rumors about her daughter's death to rest, telling People.com "My daughter didn't do drugs."
Sharon says she believes Brittany died because she had a "congenital heart murmur." Sharon made the dramatic 911 call from Brittany's Hollywood home.
Monjack still can't believe she's gone.
"How are you holding up?" King asked him.
"I don't think I am," he answered. "You wake up in the morning and it's like a rebirth. I reach out to touch or hold my wife and she isn't there."
The full interview airs on January 20 on Larry King Live.
