Fourteen-year-old Ayvani Perez has been found alive after being kidnapped during a home invasion. INSIDE EDITION has the latest.
The 14-year-old girl abducted at gunpoint in a chilling home invasion has been found and she's alive. Ayvani Perez was found wandering on a highway after being released by her kidnappers.
Two suspects, one identified as 29-year-old Wildrego Jackson, are in custody.
Police say they're still looking for two other men who burst into a suburban Atlanta home Tuesday and demanded money and jewelry. When they didn't find any, they actually shot the family poodle, Ella. Then, they abducted Ayvani and demanded $100,000 ransom.
All of Atlanta and surrounding communities were galvanized by the hunt.
Receipts printed at gas stations beared Ayvani's picture and details of the kidnapping. And Ayvani's photo and sketches of the suspected abductors were posted to hundreds of websites and Facebook pages.
Now, against all odds, Ayvani is safe.
