New Information Surfaces On Bikers Attacking SUV Driver

Biker Reginald Chance shows defiance while being arraigned, as information surfaces on other bikers at the scene of the attack on SUV driver Alexian Lien. INSIDE EDITION reports.

Disturbing new video has surfaced of the biker attack that has stunned the nation.

In the video, the bikers can be seen stomping on internet executive Alexian Lien, leaving him  sprawled out on the street dazed and beaten.

A Good Samaritan, Sergio Consuegra can be seen on the video standing with his arms spread, bravely stepping in to stop the assault.

"I said, 'Guys, let it go. That's it," Consuegra said.
He says the bikers also went after Lien's wife, Rosalyn, trying to pull her out of the car as she shielded her two-year-old child. Rosalyn's window had been shattered.

Trent asked, "They tried to pull her out of the car?"

"Yes, real hard. But he couldn't," stated Consuegra.

The biker who smashed the driver's side window was arraigned over the weekend. Thirty-eight-year-old Reginald Chance was defiant, making a rude gesture with his middle fingers as he was charged with assault. His attorney spoke to reporters outside court.
"My client obviously overreacted in smashing the window. But, beyond that, he was not a participant in any assault on that victim," said the attorney.

Meanwhile, INSIDE EDITION has learned that one of the bikers on the scene was, of all things, an off-duty detective. He stood by and watched the beating and did nothing to stop it because he didn't want anyone to know he was a cop. It took the off-duty cop three days to come forward and admit he was there.

Retired NYPD detective Steve Kardian defended the detective who works as an undercover narcotics agent.

Kardian told INSIDE EDITION, "If he's in a deep undercover, and he would blow that cover, he could be jeopardizing not only his life, but the lives of other officers.

The controversy sparked a lively debate on The View.

Jenny McCarthy said, "I think when it comes to saving a life, you should absolutely blow your cover."
