INSIDE EDITION caught up with iconic TV talk show host Larry King who shares his thoughts about turning 80 years old.
Larry King is turning 80 years old and the iconic king of talk doesn't know where the time went.
He told INSIDE EDITION, “I just can't believe I’m 80! Eighty is such a crazy number for me, 80 is such a astronomical number.”
King showed showed INSIDE EDITION’s Jim Moret around his palatial 10,000 square foot Beverly Hills mansion and even he can't believe this one time poor kid from Brooklyn made it so big.
He said, “The ride has been, I pinch myself all of the time.”

King also shed new light onto his high profile departure from CNN.
“Normally, when CNN, they offered me long contracts of three years, four years. But then they offered me a one year contract and I saw that as writing on the wall,” King said.
That didn't mean quitting the business. In fact he now has two talk shows. He credits Shawn, his wife of 16 years with keeping him young at heart.
Moret said, “Larry seems like a big kid to me."
Shawn said, "Oh I say this all the time, I have four kids Danny, Chance, Ken, and my toddler.”
Moret asked, “Larry is your most difficult?”
“Yes,” she replied.
While he's achieved more than he ever dreamed, don't look for this king to rest on his laurels and hang up his suspenders just yet.
Moret asked, “Do you ever think you're going to slow down?”
He replied, “No, I don’t want to leave because I am to curious to leave.”
