Ron Burgundy co-anchored a real newscast in North Dakota.
Will Ferrell stayed in character for the entire broadcast delivering news about Christmas decorations and beards.
As he deadpans, his co-anchor Amber could barely keep it together.
Burgundy said, “Amber, you look lovely tonight.”
She said, “You too, Ron.”
He then asked, “Are you married?”
“No,” she replied.
He joked, “Well, I am, so don't get any ideas.”
INSIDE EDITION’s Megan Alexander caught up with Amber Schatz via Skype from her newsroom in Bismarck.
Alexander asked, “How hard was it for you to keep a straight face?"
Amber said, “As soon as he said ‘I’m Ron Burgundy,’ I cracked up. I didn't know what to expect. I looked frightened I don't know what he's going to say.”
Even when Burgundy tried to muscle in on her shot, she didn't flinch.
She told INSIDE EDITION, “I love that man. I am a genuine fan."
