Martin Bashir Resigns

After apologizing to Sarah Palin for the lewd comments he made about her, MSNBC host Martin Bashir has resigned from the network. INSIDE EDITION has the story.
Two weeks ago, MSNBC host Martin Bashir apologized after he made nasty comments about Sarah Palin.
Now, Bashir is announcing that he is resigning.
He wrote: "It is my sincere hope that all of my colleagues at this special network, will be allowed to focus on the issues that matter without the distraction of myself or my ill-judged comments. I deeply regret what I said."
Bashir has not been seen on the air since he apologized for his shocking comments that Palin needed to be punished like a slave, by having someone defecate and urinate on her.
In his apology, he said, “My words were unacceptable. They were neither accurate nor fair and they have brought shame on my colleagues at this network.”
