Carrie Underwood Blasts 'Sound Of Music Live!' Critics

Carrie Underwood took to Twitter to call out critics of her performance on The Sound of Music Live! INSIDE EDITION has the story.
Carrie Underwood is blasting critics of her performance in The Sound of Music Live!
Underwood tweeted: "Plain and simple: Mean people need Jesus. They will be in my prayers tonight."
Underwood, who played Maria in the hugely successful live broadcast, was praised for her singing but criticized for her acting.
Over the weekend, the legendary Julie Andrews, who starred as Maria in the blockbuster 1965 movie, was bombarded by photographers who asked if she had seen Underwood’s performance.
Andrews said, "No, I haven't. I have been traveling. So sadly, I'll have to wait and see it."
Meanwhile, the live broadcast was spoofed on Saturday Night Live. Kristin Wiig returned for the skit and played a Von Trapp sister.
