Daniel's mom, Robin, first showed him video of a garbage truck collecting trash to help him conquer his fear of the noise the trucks made. He became fascinated by the trash collector’s weekly ritual. Sometimes even waiting for hours for the garbage truck to arrive.
She said, “What mother isn't touched by an act of kindness from a complete stranger toward their son? Trash day is his favorite day of the week.”
Video of Sanchez giving the treasured gift to a little boy who loves trucks so much has been seen around the world and touched millions of people Daniel nor Sanchez will ever meet.
Robin said, “I had no idea it was going to touch so many lives."
