Shooter Named Young Model In Eerie Manifesto
Elliot Rodger named one girl in particular in his manifesto who he felt rejected him. But the girl's father says she barely knew Rodger. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
A blameless young actress and model is thrust into the center of the California shooting massacre. The 19-year-old blonde is vilified by name in the warped manifesto written by killer Elliot Rodger.
He had a secret crush on the girl in eighth grade. He also claimed she was part of a group of young women who teased him.
"To be teased and ridiculed by the girl I had a crush on wounded me deeply," he wrote.
Rodger called the girl "an evil (blank)." He wrote: "I hated her so much."
Rodger had the nerve to blame the group's teasing for his attitude to women. "I started to hate all girls because of this. I saw them as mean, cruel, and heartless creatures that took pleasure from my suffering."
But the actress's father says, "She can barely remember the guy. She remembers him being odd, that's it. He had a secret crush on her but she was completely unaware of him."
The dad says his daughter never bullied Rodger, and says she is devastated by the massacre.
"It's like she's being implicated in this terrible tragedy for something she hasn't done and can't remember," said her father.
One young man is also singled out as a target of hate in Rodger's manifesto. They were childhood pals. Lucky Radley is now a University of Utah running back.
Radley told INSIDE EDITION, "He was really quiet. He would literally not say anything. He would kind of communicate through head nods."
Elliot Rodger came to hate Radley because of his good looks, writing in his sick manifesto: "He immediately became popular with the pretty girls of his grade. I hated him for it."
Radley was stunned by the comments, telling INSIDE EDITION, "I must have read it over and over about 10 times. I was shocked. I had no idea."
