Stepmom Raises Suspicions In Disappearance of Kyron Horman
INSIDE EDITION has learned that the woman at the center of the investigation in the case of missing 7-year-old Kyron Horman was once a former bodybuilder.
It's a bizarre twist in the mystery of missing 7-year-old Kyron Horman.
It turns out his step-mother, Terri Horman, the woman who police say is at the center of the investigation, was once a female bodybuilder!
A photo of Terri Horman flexing her muscles was taken at a bodybuilding competition in Seattle in 2005. She came in fourth.
Terri was the last person to see little Kyron alive. She told police she dropped the second grader off at school and hasn't seen him since.
Cops are circulating flyers asking if anyone had seen Kyron or his step-mom the day he disappeared.
Heartbreaking new home video of little Kyron has just been released. In the video he is proudly giving a show and tell presentation and singing "Happy Days Are Here Again" with his second grade class.
When he disappeared, Terri Horman cried in her husband's arms at two press conferences, but police now suspect those may have been crocodile tears.
She's just hired a high-powered criminal defense attorney, Stephen Houze, to represent her. He was seen driving into her home in Portland, Oregon where she's secluded herself.
Pat Brown, a criminal profiler, told INSIDE EDITION, "The fact that Terri Horman is a bodybuilder may mean nothing but it also may mean that she's very narcissistic, that she likes a lot of attention."
Terri Horman's husband, Kaine, has just filed for divorce. The documents cite "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.
He's also obtained a restraining order barring Terri from seeing their 19-month-old daughter.
That's a big change from just a week ago, when he and his ex-wife, Kyron's biological mother, defended the step-mom.
"I can't really comment necessarily on how Terri's coping with the situation but she's working as hard as we are to cooperate and work with investigators to help find him," Kaine said.
Now police are investigating the bodybuilding step-mom.
Terri has already taken two polygraph tests but the results have not been released.
