Beachgoer Killed By Emergency Plane Landing
Thirty-six-year-old Ommy Irizarry was struck and killed by a small plane making an emergency landing on the beach. INSIDE EDITION has more.
In Sarasota, Florida, there was mayhem on the beach when a plane made an emergency landing, striking a man and his daughter as they walked along the surf.
The dead man is 36-year-old Ommy Irizarry. His 9-year-old daughter, Oceana is in critical condition. His wife who witnessed the tragedy had a heart attack, but is recovering.
The couple was on vacation celebrating their ninth wedding anniversary. The dead man's final entry on his Facebook page reads: "Today, 9 years ago, I tied my life to my beautiful wife. I love you with all my heart."
Then, tragedy struck.
