Miss America: Kicked Out of Sorority for Hazing?

A published report alleges that newly-crowned Miss America, Kira Kazantsev was kicked out of her sorority for hazing other students. INSIDE EDITION has more.
Could it be true, was the new Miss America kicked out of her sorority for hazing?
The 23-year-old Kazantsev was described as "exceptionally harsh" to the pledges at Alpha Phi sorority at Hofstra University in New York, and made their lives "a living Hell," according to a shocking report published today on the website Jezebel.com.
The website claims sorority pledges were, "called names (and) berated for their perceived physical flaws and imperfections."
They were also made to "perform physical tasks to the point of bruising and exhaustion."
Kazantsev was the sorority's recruiting secretary. She was reportedly expelled from the sorority last year after the alleged abuse came to light.
Ironically, Kazantsev’s platform as Miss America is domestic abuse, stemming from an abusive relationship she had at college.
The Miss America organization confirmed the story, saying, "Kira has been fully transparent with the Miss America Organization about her termination from the Alpha Phi sorority."
