Conflicting Reports On Bobbi Kristina's Fate

Bobbi Kristina's family is reportedly gathering at the hospital to say their final goodbyes to the 21-year-old as conflicting reports surface on her fate. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

Bobby Brown arrived at Emory University Hospital and he's denouncing reports that his 21-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, is brain dead.

This was the headline on "Family Gathering To Say Goodbye."

Doctors at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta reportedly told Bobbi Kristina’s loved ones there is nothing more they can do and to pull the plug on her life support.

But her father issued a statement insisting the reports are not true, "this is false," he said.

Meanwhile in Los Angeles, preparations for this year’s Grammys are underway. INSIDE EDITION’s Jim Moret is there.
On Sunday night, the biggest stars will be there at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will be right in the front row next to the legendary Tony Bennett. Everyone will be thinking about Bobbi Kristina. After all, her mother, Whitney Houston, was found drowned in her hotel bathtub three years ago on Grammy weekend.

Ken Ehrlich is the executive producer of the Grammys. He told INSIDE EDITION, "Our prayers are with the family. They have gone through so much. We hope that things maybe get better. If something happens, this community will rise as one and reflect on it."

INSIDE EDITION is also hearing for the first time what happened when Bobbi Kristina was discovered face down in her bathtub.

It turns out the man who pulled her out of the tub wasn't her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, but Max Lomas, a close friend with a checkered past.

INSIDE EDITION’s Diane McInerney spoke with his attorney Philip Holloway.

She asked, "What prompted him to check on Bobbi Kristina?"

Holloway said, "Someone had called out to her, hearing no response they had decided to check on her, that's when they found her."

Lomas has a rap sheet. Just two weeks ago, he was arrested for drug possession. He pled not guilty.

McInerney asked Holloway, "I'm sure you'll understand my next line of questioning, given your client's history. Was he supplying drugs to Bobbi Kristina?"

He replied, "My client was her friend, is a close friend. He had been a close friend for a long time. He wanted nothing more than to get her the medical attention she needed."

McInerney asked, "Did he ever supply her with drugs and were they doing drugs in the house?"

"I am not at liberty to discuss anything beyond what I have already said. We have cooperated. My client has answered lots of questions that were asked of him by the police. He loved her as a friend, a dear friend. He would never do anything to hurt her. He only wanted to help her," said Holloway.
