Chuck Lorre Finally Gets Revenge on Charlie Sheen in 'Two-and-a-Half Men' Finale
The cast of Two and a Half Men took their final bows as the show came to a close and found a way to poke fun of former cast member Charlie Sheen. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
Two and a Half Men went out with a bang, literally, by dropping a piano on the head of the long-lost Charlie Sheen character!
The wild finale watched by more than 13 million people amounted to an hour-long roast of its former star, Charlie Sheen, who declined a role in the final show!
Mary Murphy, Senior Lecturer of the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, told INSIDE EDITION, "Charlie Sheen didn't need to show up, because he was there in every moment of the final episode. It was a brilliant satire, ‘gotcha!’ revenge episode!"
They killed off Sheen’s character four years ago when he was fired, but in the finale, they put him in a wacky cartoon sequence that explained he wasn't really dead, just trapped in a cellar by his crazy wife, until he was able to escape!
In the episode, Ashton Kutcher’s character received a mysterious text from Sheen’s character that said, “I will carve my initials into your reptilian skull and cover you in tiger's blood!"
You'll recall that during his famous meltdown, that was one of Sheen's favorite expressions!
They even poked fun of the show Sheen starred in after Two and a Half Men!
Kutcher’s character said, "This guy has some rage issues."
In the episode, Arnold Schwarzenegger then asked, "Has he tried anger management?"
"Yeah, but it didn't work," Cryer replied.
The term “Winning” was Charlie Sheen's most famous meltdown mantra, and it was producer Chuck Lorre’s final jab at his show's one-time superstar by dropping a piano on an animated image of Sheen's character.
Lorre said, "Winning," as a piano then dropped on him.
