Danger Alert: Giant Icicles
The brutally cold weather gripping much of the nation is causing a potentially deadly problem – icicles. INSIDE EDITION has details.
Good Morning America showed how massive icicles can be a real safety hazard.
A Massachusetts reporter held up a massive piece of an icicle, saying, "This weighs about 70 pounds. If this hits you, forget it. Game over."
Flying icicles are getting to be a major problem everywhere. Home improvement expert Ron Hazelton told INSIDE EDITION’s Steven Fabian, "They're heavy. They're sharp. And if they hit you in the head, they can be deadly."
Hazelton says there's a right way and a wrong way to remove these dangerous objects from your home.
Fabian noted, "You've got your PVC pipe, a couple of bucks at a hardware store. It's the perfect tool to knock these things down with. Let's do it."
Hazelton easily knocked down icicles with the PVC pipe.
