This Picture Of A Baby Weasel Riding A Woodpecker May Be Real, But It's Not What It Seems

Yes, this picture of a baby weasel riding a woodpecker is adorable, but there's more to the story than you know.
It's the picture that captured two unlikely buddies. A baby weasel hitched a ride on the back of a woodpecker.
The amazing picture was taken in a park in London. It seemed unreal, like something out of an animated adventure movie.
The picture has gone viral. Many are saying "it's amazing." Some even tweeted memes saying, "Putin's latest PR shoot."
One poked fun at that now-infamous blue-and-black dress many thought was white and gold. It said, "What do you see? Weasel and woodpecker or white and gold?"
Now, brace yourself for a big disappointment. According to animal expert Jarod Miller, the photo is not as cute and cuddly as it seems. In point of fact, the weasel is probably trying to eat the woodpecker.
Miller told INSIDE EDITION, "In what looks like an innocent photo, is actually an attack caught on film."
The photographer who took the shot said when the woodpecker landed, the wily weasel scurried off. A happy ending for the woodpecker who could have ended up as lunch.
