Meet The 8-Year-Old Sister Who Saved Her Baby Brother From Kidnapping
The heroic little girl tells her story.
The kidnapper whose brazen abduction of a toddler was caught on surveillance video is only 15 years old!
The frightening figure was seen snatching a little boy and then being chased down by his brave big sister and brother.
The video has now led to the arrest of the 15-year-old who lives in the small town of Sprague, Washington, where the kidnapping occurred.
INSIDE EDITION spoke to eight-year-old Delicia and 10-year-old Brenden Wright on Wednesday night just as the news of the arrest was breaking.
Delicia said, "I felt really, really scared that he took him. He said, ‘I'm good with kids, babysitting.’ He sounded nice, but he was really not nice."
All of a sudden, he grabbed 22-month Owen and took off from a neighborhood park. Delicia won praise for screaming as loud as she could and alerting anyone who could hear that her baby brother was in trouble.
A caller to 911 said, "A man grabbed a two-year-old baby child, and was running with it. The little kid started screaming."

The kidnapper panicked and put Owen down and fled. He's now being held in a juvenile detention facility. Police are withholding his identity.
Michael Wright is father to America’s bravest big sis and big brother.
He told INSIDE EDITION, "I would never guess a 15-year-old boy."
So why were the kids alone at the playground? Her parents had left them in the care of a family friend who thought they would be safe in the park near her house.
Michael said, "I don't blame her, it was an honest mistake, small town scenario."
For now, the family is focused on gratitude that the kidnapper has been apprehended.
Michael said, "I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else."
The abductor faces second degree kidnapping.
