Alleged Thief Hands Out Doughnuts to Customers During Robbery
Police surveillance footage shows the suspect handing out the treats to doughnut shop customers.
There might be a hole in this suspect's alibi.
That's because cops in Texas say the alleged robber knocked over a local doughnut shop — and handed out the pastries to customers while he did it.
It happened at a Shipley Do-Nuts in Houston, where investigators say three men — one of them armed with a handgun — stormed the shop with their faces covered while wearing gloves.
While two of the suspects robbed the place, cops say the third handed out doughnuts to people with the bad luck of being in the shop at the time of the robbery.
The suspects are then seen fleeing the scene.
Houston Police are now in search of the suspects, all described as black males.
The first suspect was about 5 foot, 8 inches and wearing a black hoodie, blue pants and a white bandana. Suspect two is about 5 foot, 7 inches to 5 foot, 10 inches, in a black hoodie and red bandana. The third suspect is about 6 foot to 6 foot, 2 inches, wearing a multicolored hoodie, black pants and a black bandana.
