A barber in Chennai, South India, is setting people’s hair on fire using a new haircutting technique.
In anxiety-inducing footage, a man’s entire head of hair is ringed in flames as the barber rapidly combs the fire out. It took 12 seconds for the flames to disappear.
The technique reportedly removes weak hair and split ends. Its popularity has increased over the last few years.
The barber reportedly puts gel on the hair before lighting it on fire along with fragrance so it doesn’t smell burnt.
The haircuts range from $25 to $50.
