Bode Miller's Wife Shows 6-Month-Old Son Learning to Float in Swimming Pool

Bode Miller's 19-moth-old daughter drowned in a pool just 10 months ago.

Video shared by Olympic skier Bode Miller’s wife of their 6-month-old son, Easton, in a pool learning how to float is captivating social media.

The lifesaving lessons come nearly a year after the Millers' 19-month-old daughter, Emmy, drowned in a neighbor's pool.

Miller and his wife, Morgan Beck, are now making it their mission to promote water survival skills for all youngsters.

“I cried tears of hope watching my baby boy learn this life saving skill... And then tears of sadness because it was all I had to do to keep my baby girl here,” Beck wrote on Instagram Stories.

The video shows an instructor supporting baby Easton's head as he tried to float and holding him in the water.

Swim safety expert Jim Spears teaches little ones how to swim and agrees that all babies should know how to stay safe in a pool.

“Parents first off need to know that supervision is their priority. They can't be on an iPad when they're watching their child. They need to pay attention to their children, have their eyes on the child at all times,” Spears said.
