Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Says He's 'Absolutely' Considering Presidential Run
Johnson made the remarks during an appearance on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert."
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is "absolutely" considering a run for president, the "Skyscraper" star said Wednesday.
Host Stephen Colbert brought up a potential bid during an interview with Johnson, 46, on "The Late Show."
“Do you actually take that possibility seriously?” Colbert, 54, asked.
“I absolutely do, yes," Johnson replied.
However, the former WWE star went on to say that a 2020 bid was not likely as he lacks political experience.
Last year, Johnson hinted he had interest in the nation's highest office.
“Personally, I feel that if I were president, poise would be important," he told GQ magazine. "Leadership would be important. Taking responsibility for everybody. [If I didn't agree with someone] on something, I wouldn't shut them out. I would actually include them.
"The first thing we'd do is we'd come and sit down and we'd talk about it," he added.
