Elderly Woman Sings With Elvis Impersonator in Heartwarming Duet
The Elvis impersonator locked eyes with an elderly lady in a wheelchair shopping cart, who smiled and sang back.
A wheelchair-bound elderly woman’s day was made as she was serenaded by "Elvis Presley" while shopping at an Arkansas Walmart.
Dressed in a bedazzled white jumpsuit, similar to the iconic outfit donned by Presley himself, the impersonator sang “Can’t Help Falling in Love With You” to shoppers standing near registers, video obtained by Caters showed.
Onlookers laughed as the impersonator rubbed a customer’s bald head before moving on to a shopper who would become the true star of the show.
The impersonator locked eyes with an elderly woman in a wheelchair shopping cart, who smiled and sang back.
“It seemed like the lady was taken back in time and was singing to the King himself — it had clearly made her day," shopper Don Luper, who captured the video, told Caters.
After their duet was over, the King gave the woman his blue scarf and kissed her cheek and she thanked him for the moment.
“The other customers around me couldn’t believe what they were seeing," Luper said. "They seemed like they were in love with the moment.
"This experience made me think of my own grandma and how much she was a fan of Elvis. It reminded me how much his fans loved him when he was alive and performing his concerts. It was nice to see that the love still exists today in his fans."
