Firefighters Play YouTube Video of Duck Sounds to Rescue Trapped Babies

Colorado firefighters had to get creative when they wanted to rescue eight ducklings trapped in a storm drain. 

They lifted up the storm drain and were able to scoop up four little ones relatively easily. But the other ducklings became frightened and crawled into a drainpipe.

Since their mom was too far away for them to hear her, firefighters had to think fast. 

They played a YouTube video of a mama duck calling for her babies instead.
