Florida Man, 29, Falls to His Death on Cruise Ship During His Bachelor Party

It is not clear what caused the fatal fall.
A Florida man celebrating his bachelor party fell to his death while aboard a cruise ship in the Bahamas.
Christopher McGrory, 29, was set to get married on Dec. 1, but tragically fell onto a lower deck Paradise Cruise Line’s Grand Classica ship at about 8 p.m. Friday.
He was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, where he was pronounced dead.
“All we could see was pools and pools of blood and [part of] a white sheet," Witness Marcia Lehman told the Palm Beach Post. “He fell above us, so it had to have been either the 10th or 11th [deck]."
Jessica Arnett, who was McGrory's soon-to-be wife, has been devastated since receiving the news.
“With a heavy, heavy broke heart, it kills me to write this as it all seems surreal but I should tell you all my sweet Chris was in a tragic accident and has passed away,” Arnett wrote in a Facebook post. “I’m at a loss for words, that man was my true love and my best friend. Please keep us all in your prayers."
The cruise line has not released any information about the circumstances of McGrory's death.
"Our thoughts and prayers go out to the guest’s family at this time. We commend the crew and U.S. Coast Guard for their swift response," a spokesperson said.
