George Clooney Donates Harley-Davidson Motorcycle to Charity at Wife's Urging
The actor was thrown 20 feet from a motor scooter in July.
George Clooney's wife is putting the brakes on his motorcycle riding.
The “Ocean’s 11” star is donating one of his prized Harley-Davidson motorcycles to raise money for soldiers for the “Homes for Troops” charity, which was set up by CNN anchor Jake Tapper.
The auction comes after his terrifying motor scooter accident in Italy over the summer, in which the actor hit a car, sending him flying head first into the windshield.
“Ever since Clooney's motorcycle accident, his wife, Amal, has told him he's off two wheels for good,” the eBay post reads.
Clooney just bought the brand new Harley with only 25 miles on the odometer, according to the post.
The auction opened on Monday, with bids starting at $25,000, which is $3,000 less than the manufacture selling price.
Clooney will even sign it for you.
